Excel Add-On

Lauch Misrosoft Office Excel Application after installation of UBS System. A new tab named " Add-Ins" will be available in the Excel menu bar.

• Connert to UBS databases

To start obtain data from UBS Accounting database, click on any of the accounting menu item (1 to 4) ans a select company screen will be prompted. Key in the path where UBS Accounting System is installed and hit Tab key. All available company maintained in the UBS Accounting System will be listed. Select the required company by double clicking and then related user id for the selected comapny will be shown. Key in the password in relate to the user id and then click [ Connert] button.

To start obtain data from UBS Inventory & Billing database, follow the same procedure by clicking on any of the inventory & billing menu item (5 to  8) and the path set to the path where UBS Inventory and Billing System is installed.

• Populate Required Data

1. Design a report layout with required formatting
2. Click on the required cell and then choose the related menu item(1 to 8)
3. Choose the required data, click [Add] and then click [Close]. The cell will be populated by UBS formula and processed data will be shown.

• Tips

Reference - UBS formula can be enhanced its functionality by using referance parameter. With these practices, data refresh will be made easy and fast without go though data re-populate process.

Operation upon formula - UBS formula can be work in pair with mathematical operation such as plus, minus, multiply, divide and exedra.

Chart & Graph - Data processed by UBS formula can be used to generate graphical report according to user preferences. The graphical report is dynamically linked with the populated data and can be updated instantly once the data is being re-populated.

Report Template - The saved excel report can be reused for others company by connecting to others UBS databases. Once databases connection establish, all relate data will be dynamically re-populated and displayed. If the previous referred data is not available in the data base, "0" will be displayed.
